Email sent to the contact address for Consum.
The email described connections between Consum's supplier Nomad Foods and the use of Uyghur forced labor at seafood processing plants in China. The email asked: Could you confirm whether white fish sourced from Yantai Sanko, Yantai Longwin and Qingdao Tianyuan has been used in any of the Findus branded products sold by Consum since 2018? Does Consum have any comment or clarification to make regarding the above information?
Consum replied by email, saying that "we have registered your comments and transferred them to the corresponding department. We urge you to contact the provider Findus so that they can respond to your request."
