Email sent to the contact address for Zhejiang Zhou Pu Ocean Fisheries.
The email said that The Outlaw Ocean Project's investigation found that Zhejiang Zhou Pu Ocean Fisheries Co. Ltd. owns multiple squid boats with frequent communication outages, and its Pu Yuan 825 was fined in 2020 for illegal fishing in Peruvian waters. Another of its vessels, the Zhou Pu 818, fished without a license in the South Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Organization area in 2021. The email also asked for comment.
